Lightbulb SimRacingAustralia - Racing Through Time (1937-1969-1994)

Welcome to the second series of the 2013 rFactor League, "Racing Through Time"!

A new concept for SimRacingAustralia, as we roll the clock back and partake in some of the most famous seasons in motor racing Grand Prix history!

Try your hand at a pre-World War II powerful beasts as we run part of the 1937 Grand Prix season where safety had no place in motor racing and cars had completely outgrown circuits and even drivers.

Next we'll fast forward to the end of one era and the beginning of another, as we dabble with the new concept of wings during the 1969 Formula 1 season.

Finally, we'll jump into the post elecontric era high-tech Formula 1 car as we compete in the infamous 1994 Formula 1 season.

Three different eras, three completely different disciplines - the roar power of the 30s, the light rockets of the 60s and finally the high g-force 90s ...buckle up!

The series is a 'mini-career', with each mod consisting of 4 rounds which entail a 'mini-Championship'.

Essentially your previous 'mini-Championship' result will dictate what car you have available for the next 'mini-Championship'.

But don't worry, the admins will work it out for you. All you need to decide is which 1937 car you'd like to use, and you can change that throughout the first 4 races anyway!

    Series Rules
    1. You can select any car you want for the 1937 season. There are two classes available:
    a. Grand Prix class
    b. Voiturette class

    2. You may change your 1937 car as many times as you want for any 1937 race, however, the Championship points earned will only count towards the class which you entered for that race. That is, Grand Prix class points earned cannot count towards the Voiturette Championship and vice versa.

    3. At the end of the 1937 season, we will have two class winners:
    a. A Grand Prix class Champion, and
    b. A Voiturette class Champion

    4. Each class World Champion will be given car #1 and car #2 respectively for the 1969 season.
    a. Each class runner-up will be given the 2nd Constructor placed finisher of the 1969 season.
    b. So on and so forth for the remaining positions in the 1937 season.

    5. There is only 1 class in the 1969 season.

    6. The 1969 F1 World Champion will be given car #1 in the 1994 F1 World Championship.
    a. The 1969 F1 runner-up will be given car #2 in the 1994 F1 World Championship.
    b. So on and so forth for the remaining positions of the 1969 season.
